Our Ottawa, Canada office is seeking an intermediate Software Developer.
Requirements for the position:
- Sound knowledge of development on Microsoft SQL Server as well as Microsoft SQL Server administration. Good knowledge of SQL Server Reporting Services, Analysis services and integration services will be an asset.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with development on .Net platform including VB.Net, ASP.Net, Java Script.
- Sound knowledge of Object Oriented Programming and Design.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Experience of working with ERP systems will be considered an asset.
The Responsibilities will include:
- Design, analysis and development of stand-alone applications which includes client-sever applications and web applications developed using visual studio.net.
- Unit testing, bug verification and release testing for products developed at CRG.
- Customization of software to meet customer requirements.
- Participate in product design.
- Client support for some CRG products.
- Earn and maintain certification in Microsoft certification exams.
- Continuously research new technology and development tools to remain abreast of current technology.
- Maintain strong relationship with CRG’s product development and sales teams.
- Communicate on occasion with representatives from CRG’s various international offices.

- Microsoft SharePoint/CRM Consultant
Corporate Renaissance Group is seeking an individual for a full-time, permanent position located in Ottawa, Canada.
Job Summary
You will provide implementation and development support for Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) and/or Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Using your skills and knowledge of SQL Server, you will help build reports using SSRS.
Responsibilities:
- Provide functional and technical information to client inquiries.
- Prepare requirements definition for prospective clients.
- Assist in high-level design and solution architecture.
- Implement the solution in the client environment.
- Provide demonstrations to help win new business.
- Provide project management support.
- Client training.
Requirements:
Must Have:
- 3+ years of experience deploying Microsoft SharePoint or Microsoft Dynamics CRM (v3 or higher)
- .NET programming, web parts, website development, website design, XML, CSS, HTML
- Bachelors Degree in related discipline
- Microsoft certification in either SharePoint or CRM

You will provide implementation and sales support for Microsoft Dynamics GP and related ISV add-on software solutions. This includes project/requirements definition, application configuration, integration testing, end user training and support.

Requirements:
- 3+ years experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP
- Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting and/or extensive experience in an accounting role, or a professional accounting designation.
- Must be willing to achieve Microsoft Dynamics GP certifications (if not already held).
- A good level of competence with analysis tools such as Crystal Report Writer and/or FRx Financial Report Writer, OLAP is preferred
- Expertise with the maintenance of MS SQL server and competence with generating SQL queries is preferred
- Experience in training end users on software applications.
- Self motivated and driven to achieve professional success in a consulting environment
